[The reason Don needs another dragon is because he took the first one apart to make a camerabot for someone he doesn't even know. He hopes this was a good idea.]

[He heads to building three, floor one, room five, as he was told, and knocks five times.]

Action for Isamu

[After making that delivery, Don circles southward to the home of one Isamu Nitta. Allegedly some other people live here too, but Don has never met them. Hopefully, if they exist, they won't mind too much that a giant turtle is climbing in their window. Isamu did say to surprise him.]

Action for Buffy

[Around sundown, Don makes his way to House 7. He knocks here too, though he doesn't count how many times. He has a question to ask...]

[Isamu is chilling on the sofa downstairs when he hears movement.

He sits still for a while, wondering who would bother sneaking in rather than just coming through the front door. Whoever it is, they're far too stealthy to be Richard.

He stays where he is, absently flipping through his journal as he tries to listen.]

...We only keep the good silver in the dungeon, you know.

I'm insulted, Isamu. I'm a ninja, not a thief.

[Suddenly right next to you, by the way. Hi.]

[musubi]

Jesus--

[Isamu jumps, staring at Don wide-eyed before bursting into laughter.]

You are way too big to be doing that, man.

[i_speak_softly]

[It's nice to know his growth hasn't completely wrecked his ability to be stealthy.]

Imagine what you could do, if you practiced.

[A jab at both Isamu's size and his dedication to training. Don congratulates himself for that too.]

Hey, I dodged some pretty nasty demons like a pro back home. After my home went to shit, anyway.

[Isamu adjusts his hat, sitting back up properly in the chair.]

Are you offering to teach?

[Don settles on the opposite arm of the couch.]

If you want to learn.

[Serious. It feels like the right thing to do, now.]

Well, that was a good pasttime before. Gotta keep myself in shape and all that...

I liked training with you, Isamu. Can't think of any reason why, but... [There's more to life than being rational. He'll leave the sentiment there.]

I have a very winning personality. What can I say?

And modest too. [A lame comeback, but they can't all be brilliant.] Where are your housemates?

Around. Somewhere. [He waves a hand absently.]

[Then he yells out:] RICHARD, YOU HERE?

[It's only a few seconds before Richard's head pokes out of the door to his bedroom. Given the ruffled state of his hair, he was probably taking a nap, but he doesn't seem too annoyed at being awakened.]

Is there a need for my presence?

[Facepalming. Isamu, did you really need to wake your housemate by shouting obnoxiously?]

[Yes. Yes he did.]

There's one.

[Richard blinks a few times to wake himself up before he notices Don, but when he does, he smiles.]

I see, this must be one of the friends you were telling me about.

Hi. I'm Donatello.

[He almost feels like he should apologize for Isamu's behavior, but presumably if it bothered Richard that much he wouldn't share a house with the guy.]

[musubi]

Yeah, he's a mutant turtle. Did you know they made those?

I do recall you mentioning something to that effect before.

[He then turns to address Don.]

Richard. It's a pleasure to meet you, and I apologize for all of the terrible things Isamu has no doubt been responsible for while you've known him.

Apology accepted.

[Are you listening Isamu, this is how mature responsible people speak to one another.]

You are both terrible friends. I should just walk out.

[He says as he makes no move to rise from his chair.]

If that's what you want, don't let me stop you.

[He's still smiling, too.]

I think Richard and I can manage by ourselves.

[Or you can stay and listen to the adults talk.]

Wow. I see how welcome I am.

Fine, you two can become best friends without me. [He moves to stand.]

[Except that Richard is faster than he is and makes his way over to where Isamu is sitting, putting his hands on Isamu's shoulders to keep him in the chair and then just resting his chin atop his friend's head. Were you going somewhere, Isamu?]

[Wow, you really are friends. Don says nothing, curious how Isamu will react to this.]
