[The reason Don needs another dragon is because he took the first one apart to make a camerabot for someone he doesn't even know. He hopes this was a good idea.]

[He heads to building three, floor one, room five, as he was told, and knocks five times.]

Action for Isamu

[After making that delivery, Don circles southward to the home of one Isamu Nitta. Allegedly some other people live here too, but Don has never met them. Hopefully, if they exist, they won't mind too much that a giant turtle is climbing in their window. Isamu did say to surprise him.]

[Around sundown, Don makes his way to House 7. He knocks here too, though he doesn't count how many times. He has a question to ask...]

[He waits to hear the knocking and when he hears it five times, he remembers what he asked for. The journals aren't safe so he doesn't answer right away.]

Yes? Who is it?

[Paranoid? Yes. But he'd like to hear Donatello's voice before opening the door. Just to be on the safe side. He's already been kidnapped once.]

[Right, because conscientious use of peephole and door chain can keep out droids.]

It's Donatello. I have - that thing you wanted.

[Hey, it's worth a shot.

He opens the door immediately and yes, that is definitely a giant humanoid turtle. His mind goes "what the hell?", but he's not about to show ill manners to the guy that built him his robot.

Nezumi smiles kindly and ushers him in.]

Come in, then. Thank you very much for doing this for me. I'm sure everything went fine?

It was fun. [Don rummages in his bag and comes up with something like this.] Here you go.

[He looks it over and this is definitely different from his usual micebots, but he will take it regardless.] Thank you, Donatello. I suppose you will want me to tell you of any information I acquire, yes?

I'd really appreciate it. Can I ask what you're investigating?

You could say whatever I can investigate. I just want to see if there are any cracks that we can't fit through. There's always a crack.

[Interesting idea. He knows Luceti has had tiny residents, though, and he's never heard of any of them getting anywhere worthwhile.]

[He won't say anything, so as not to ruin the creative process.]

What are you going to sync it with? For receiving the images?

What would you suggest? Technology was a little different where I came from and you were the creator.

[And he actually doesn't know too much about that front. His robotic mice were built a lot differently.]

[Well, this was a little bit of a setback. He's dropping some of his niceness now.]

Well, yes. How were you planning to get data off the memory chip?

[He scowls and then shakes his head, sighing.] Our world's technology completely misses each other. I never had to worry about computers. Not the kind of computer you're thinking of anyway.

[Very calmly:] Nezumi, have you ever used something like this before?

Considering my earlier remark? Nay.

[Okay. New strategy.]

What if you tell me what you're looking for, and I work the robot?

[He looks him over. They're in the same position and it isn't like he's never gone through someone else for information before. He nods.]

That'll have to do, though I'm not looking for anything specific. I'm mostly curious about how this place is right before shifts and big events. If anything changes before we do.

Do you have a way of predicting the shifts? Or do you want to gather data constantly and work backwards?

Before terrible events happened in my home world I could tell. It's been that way ever since I was a small child, though lately here it hasn't been working as well. [Usually he wouldn't mention this to anybody, nobody knows about that part of himself, but this world is different. Everything about this is different.] So we may need to go with the latter. If I do ever feel anything, I'd get in contact with you.

Really. [This project just became a lot more interesting.] What do you want me to monitor?

One thing is the wildlife. The wildlife that originates from here, I mean. But really, just a daily run-through of this village. Maybe something is different before shifts.
