[Long pause.] I'm not the only one - seeing things, am I? I thought I was just hallucinating, but the newspaper seems pretty real...

What kind of teenager uses the word amend? Well, if that's how you're going to be, I'm not going to tell you about the future.

What's wrong with 'amend'? And I know better than to ask about the future.

It's so.. stuffy. I amend this, I amend that, sounds like something my principal would say. W-Who doesn't want to know about the future?

Is there another phrase you prefer? Because I need to ... um ... 'take back what I said' about something else. I do want to know about the future, but I've learned it's better if I don't know. Time is the kind of thing it's better not to mess with.

Well, I prefer the phrase "steak me now!" and... wait, are you a time traveller?

"Steak me now?" I've never heard of that.

Not in the way I think you mean. But I know someone who is, and I've been dragged along on some of her adventures.
