Oh I see. So talked bikes over the journals but never met face to face. [He'll nod] That makes sense. [He eyes the bicycle for a moment]

[Don sees that eying, and knows all about Leo's not-so-secret fondness for wheeled man-powered conveyances.] Want to try it?

[Hey Don's the bicyclist at home, Leo uses a scooter. He waves a hand as he looks back to Don.]

No- it's fine. Wouldn't want to delay her getting a bike she's been waiting for.

Hey, she's only been waiting a week. Sometimes I fulfill requests in a timely fashion.

[He'll put up his hands] All right all right. I didn't mean to imply it had been a long time.

[He won't tell you what his average request-fulfilling time has been in Luceti. The number is downright embarrassing.]

[Aww, can't be that bad.]

But, if you need some body to test ride it and make sure it works I could ride it. Not that I think it doesn't work. [Because when was the last time something made by Don didn't work?]

You can test the... headlights. [They're the most technologically-advanced thing on the bike.]

[He'll nod and move over to the bike]

Alright.

You have to pedal a little, to build up power in the generator. [He indicates a fist-sized component tucked into the frame of the bike.]

[He eyed the component that was pointed out., even if he didn't understand it, he could get how it worked.]

Alright I can try it out in the living room. [Because it's cold out there, plus snow and bicycles work together, about as well as bicycles and sand. He'll grab the handle bars to roll the bike out of the room.]

[Don follows Leo out to the living room, to watch him ride circles around the couch.]

Leo will get on, make sure he's comfortable on the seat before he starts riding in circles, checking to see if the light works]

[It does! In a few cycles the light will flicker on, doing its best to further illuminate the already bright room.]

[Not that he's doing any major pedaling. It's hard to get speed up in a normal living room. He'll slow to a stop by where Don stands.]

Looks like it works. [He'll climb off it]

At least something does. [He'll take the bike and wheel it back to his workroom.]

[He'll follow him back to the room.]

I'm sure she'll be happy with it.

I hope so. It's about as good a bike as you can get around here.

Yeah I can imagine. [Not that the village was really made for larger vehicles.] You did a good job on it.

Thanks. [And he'll shift the topic.] We should do something about your swords.

[He nods, with a bit of a sigh. As crazy as he was over those swords, it's amazing he's survived this long without them.]

Yeah...I've been thinking of that. There's a chance they may be in the village. I read that peoples lost weapons some times show up in that weapons shop. [Then again they may not be, it didn't seem guaranteed.]

Mine did.

[He perks up]

Then there's hope that they are here.

[Exactly what he was getting at, bro.]

[He really did need to just go get them if they were there. Handling that sword from Raph's room had only made his hands itch more to be handling his own.]

I think I'll head to the weapon shop and see if they're there. Can I borrow some of your winter clothing? [Clothes did little to keep them warm for long, but it was better then nothing at all. Plus he should do this while he's thinking about it, before he changes his mind.]
