Need a thread with Don, but don't have a post for it and don't feel like starting one? Stick it here. Please note date, time of day, location, and any relevant circumstances.

[Does a shrug convey any of that?]

Well... we have t-time to consider that, I suppose. [Robert does know some people who are more... physically competent than him. Maybe they'd be willing to help?]

... My... swords lessons. [He hasn't even spared them a thought since Leo went home, but... it suddenly occurs to him that he wasn't finished. (Would he have ever been?)]

... I... wonder if anybody I know could... h-help me.
[There was Syre... she seemed to know her way around a sword, even if it was different. Will it matter if he has some strange hybrid sword-using style, though?]

... Doctor M-Mizuno?
[Well, why not? She's taught him medicine. And maybe having multiple kinds of insight on this could help, anyway. He still doesn't know the nuances of what made Link's swordfighting style different from Leo's...]

... Do... do you want to h-help me, as well?
[He doesn't know if it would be painful for Don, to be reminded of his brother like that, but at the same time - he feels part of the Hamato family at this point. At the least, he should be able to keep this connection intact.]

... Then I wish for this to happen.
[He smiles a little - perhaps similarly shyly.]

Robert hands the notebook back, but it's clear his mind is on something else, too. Namely, the fact neither of them have eaten yet and it's only registering now that Don hasn't really eaten for days that he's seen...]

[Carefully, he draws a diagram of unmistakable meaning: Robert is not allowed in the winter room anymore.]

You... d-do not want me - [... For a moment, he looks like he might protest, but then his shoulders slump as all the fight drains out of him.]
... Alright. However, my... my p-plants... [Well, he was considering using the room as a greenhouse for them if Don allowed it. Obviously he'll need to do something else now.]

Well. He can understand that, then, if Don's just worried about him getting hurt. But -]
... You do not... r-require assistance?

[And then he sets the notebook down. There is one more subject on his mind, but he is reluctant to mention it.]

He sits there quietly for a moment, before gently pressing into Don's side instead. If Don doesn't want to talk about it for now, that's okay.]
... I ought to... make us some food, in case the power g-goes out... [He says it almost conversationally, though he's not really worried. He more wants an excuse to feed Don.]

He picks his words carefully as he's faced away.]
... I was thinking of... something l-light. [As though the idea were purely for his own benefit alone. (Robert is not any good at disguising his intentions, though, so this ploy is as see-through as air.)] Would you be... a-adverse to steamed rice?
Perhaps even some t-tea... it might be enjoyable to watch the storm if it does not progress too dangerously... [He's never seen a tornado before.]

Regardless, he goes off to the kitchen without trying to look too worried as he glances back over his shoulder. Soon enough, the warmth of steam and the scent of green tea might waft out over to where Don is. Is it tempting enough to coax him into the kitchen proper?]
