[This morning, instead of going for his usual run, Don settles himself at his desk in the back room. The door is open and a pencil is poked thoughtfully between his teeth. When he begins to write, it isn't filtered, but courtesy of a translation-shield, anyone trying to read the entry will see something that looks more like a Danish cryptogram than anything intelligible. It's a code Don uses for his private notes: only his brothers or an extraordinarily gifted linguist would have a hope of being able to figure it out.]

[Much later, in the evening, Don goes out for his run. Now that Shredder is gone, he's allowed to go out after dark again. He knows he doesn't have long before the nights get too cold for this, so he's going to enjoy it while he can.]

You left your own world to go there?

Well, Pommy accidentally got taken from Ksa2 and didn't know how to get back there, so Pommy just decided to go with Bomberman. [He grins proudly.] Besides, Bomberman was going to get into a lot of trouble if Pommy didn't look after him! [He's going to do that with or without your "help", Pommy, it's part of his job.]

[Really, 'Bomberman'? Sounds like a terrorist.]

What is Ksa2 like?

There was a forest and a lot of hot springs. Pommy used to live with a family there in a log cabin.

[Don nods.] Luceti must be more like home to you than where you lived before.

Mmm-hmm! But Pommy still misses Diamond City a lot, even if Pommy wasn't there for long before coming to Luceti. There were a lot of interesting things going on, and a lot of different people!

[As interesting as this is, Don has been sitting still too long. The night chill is starting to creep in.]

Do you want to walk with me?

Sure thing! Pommy wasn't doing much anyway.

[Hooray, new friend! This night is officially awesome.]

[Don has his doubts about how fast a creature with no legs can walk, so he sets off at a leisurely pace.]

Are you often out at night?

Only sometimes. Pommy doesn't usually like the dark, because it can be scary. But Luceti is nice and quiet compared to Diamond City, so Pommy is okay going out at night here! Plus, Pommy couldn't sleep and Pommy was bored.

I'll probably be out for at least the next few nights. You're welcome to join me again.

I go running. I've been doing it in the morning, but now that an enemy of mine has gone home, I'm allowed out after dark again.

Don had an enemy in Luceti? That must've been scary!

I never even saw him... but I didn't like knowing he was here.

Well, if he was still here in Luceti, Pommy would've definitely helped Don fight him! [Somehow he thinks that this should be reassuring.]

[As they're walking, Pommy glances up at Don, apparently studying him a little.]

Myu, Pommy thinks Pommy's seen Don before. [It's hard to missing a giant bipedal turtle, after all.] Are there others like you here, or are you the only one?

Just one other now, but there are really four of us. [The thought seems to make him a little sad.]
