Molly, Miss Sage - I've redrawn the blueprints.



The major change is that I gave up on the missiles, the generator, and the defensive capacities of the fort. Even with electricity, I wouldn't have been able to make them work. But, I found someone who can cast a magical barrier around the playground. He just needs everyone who should be allowed in to write down their own name. Miss Sage, if you could work on that list... ? There's no hurry, since we need to actually build the playground first, but it will take some time and we should get started.

Ah... I also put in floodlights; it seemed like a good idea...

What do you think, Molly? Does this design meet primary objectives?

[They emerge out of the treeline and onto the road a few paces from the restaurant.]

[After a few more minutes of walking, they're at the front door.]

Like I'm puttin' on an act for a buncha humans.

[Raph rolls his eyes and follows after Don. The place itself doesn't look too much different than the pizza places he'd seen through lighted windows back at home. Front counter, a few tables...not bad.

He studies the menu board for a moment.]

I know what I want. You wanna split a pizza or somethin'? You can pick what's on it. I don't care.

Sure. Um. [So many choices.] And it's all... free?

Oh, do you want to try pizza with pesto? Remember, Derek made that from his grandmother's recipe and it was really good...

All right. [He gives the order to the guy at the counter - pesto pizza, two Cokes and a meatball sub with extra cheese. Oh man, he's died and gone to heaven.

The man hands them the sodas, but they have to wait a bit on the food.]

Wanna pick a seat?

[He looks around at the tables. The front ones, by the big picture window, call to him, but his ninja instincts get the deciding vote and he goes for the shadowy booth in the back corner.]

[He cracks the soda open, drinks some, and sighs in contentment.]

My first restaurant trip. [He raises his soda can.] Cheers, brother.
