Then that same giant turtle is conducting a thorough search of your nonfiction section, and changing his complaints to a muted diatribe about how woefully incomplete your research collection is.

Eventually, he gives up, and turns to the one book that's always there for him.]

I'm looking for information about healing magic... can anyone spare a moment to enlighten me?

As much as I hate to admit it, magic seems to be more effective than science here. I'd be remiss if I didn't learn how to do it.

Well, learned first aid with the army rangers, so that helped on the anatomy side of things.

As for hearing her...if your teacher ever sat you down and made you just listen to your surroundings? It's something like that. Only, you can get a conversation out of it and not just awareness, you know? It'll be in your head.
