Twenty-first Theory [Voice/Action]

[Hi, Luceti library. A giant turtle is rummaging through your card catalog and muttering to himself about how woefully incomplete your filing system is. Then that same giant turtle is conducting a thorough search of your nonfiction section, and changing his complaints to a muted diatribe about how woefully incomplete your research collection is.

Eventually, he gives up, and turns to the one book that's always there for him.]

I'm looking for information about healing magic... can anyone spare a moment to enlighten me?

[Later, the very same giant turtle can be found near the playground, wandering in and out of the area, staring in odd directions and generally acting quite strange.]

Hm a shame that they've been left suddenly like that. I know I wouldn't want that to happen to any of my students. You wouldn't by any chance know if Miss Patchouli spoke to anyone about forming this class, would you? I'd assume the school unless I'm mistaken.

(( Oh okay. Yeah I guess it's best just to assume. >: ))

[ He laughs lightly. ] I seem to be thinking about my own school then.

But they're not that mundane. History and science are always fascinating subjects regardless of what world you're from! Especially here where you could learn about anyone's if given the proper materials.

Ah I see, I see. [ Derpy derp. ] To be honest I sometimes wonder what it would be like to be, er, normal. But I'm sure many of us with magic do!

Oh yes of course, forgive me for assuming but...people are not used to you in your world I take it? You know many of my Mythica students too wished for it. To be normal or at least look it. But I think being different isn't so bad it shouldn't really matter.

If you get to know someone well enough appearance shouldn't make a difference in your judgment of them. At least...that's what I hope my students will learn from being in my school. Or course not everyone thinks like I do. [ He lets out a tired sounding sigh before chuckling a bit. ] Then again what is normal?

[ Sighs. ] I see, yes that is something similar in my world. Having to live in fear or concern about the effects your appearance might have on the world. It's a shame because you're actually one of the most interesting people I've met here! Though--I made a wonderful solution to the exact problem you have. I wonder if it still works here...

Hm well they just don't see then! [ He has a derpy smile on his face which you cannot see, but you can probably hear it in his voice regardless. ]

Oh! Well it's not really a problem here but your appearance. I have a special device I made back in my world that essentially cloaks the individuals true appearance. Can't have dragons and demons wandering around the school in full view, er, well at least until my students are used to them.

A hologram... [ What is this technology you speaketh of? ] Yes something like that! It's magical and you can't simply get past it. Of course only if you begin to believe in said myth.

[ Psh facts who needs those. Besides he's gotten all the kinks out so it won't blow up in your face. His bastard of a friend friend Ra was the one subjected to that. They're perfectly safe~ ]

Ah, oh of course! But if your interest is ever piqued you're welcome to try it!
