Forty-Second Theory [Voice/Action for Housemates]
[Don is feeling a little claustrophobic today. The number of vehicles he has stashed in his workroom has increased to five over the past week, and he's running out of room to build more. He'd been hoping that the wet, overcast weather would break so he could take his work outside, but that didn't exactly pan out. It is sunny today, but it's also unseasonably cold.]
[Determined to continue his work anyway, Don has shoved all the furniture out of the way and set up camp in the living room, surrounded by a mass of lightweight canvas and metal struts. Hang-glider Number Four is now Under Construction.]
[It's been quite some time since he asked a general question over the journals, so he decides to do so now. Companionable conversation is just what he needs to make the repetitive work go faster.]
If you had access to Shifting technology, and could change something about the world - what would you do? How long would you make it last?
[He also has some things he wants to talk about with Mike and Master Splinter - separately, that is. If they don't stop by while he's working, he'll be looking for them later.]

"Fuck off!"
[Action]
No!

Then, he lowers his sai, lets his shoulders drop, and turns the blade in so the pommel is outward. Three steps, and it's prodding into Don's plastron. The anger in his eyes only deepens.
The corner of his mouth twists into a sneer.]
Well ain't that too damn bad for you. 'Cause I can't hear anybody's opinion right now.
[His eyes narrow into a withering glare.] Guess you'll just have to respect that.
[Action]
Is that what this is about?
[Action]
[He spits the word "boyfriend" like it tastes bad.]
Or did you just forget?
[Action]
Then what are you angry at?!
[Action]
[So maybe this is partly about you. Not you and Robert, just you, mixing with the fear and pain and sadness and frustration and hate for what's happening to Derek, for not being able to do a goddamn thing. That man treated them like a father, took them in, did everything in his power to help them. And what does he do? He fucking screws up everything. He sits on his ass and lets someone else do the dirty work when Derek needs them most. That's not how it's supposed to happen.]
[Action]
[She seems kind of scary, actually. But he supposes you're into that.]
[Action]

[Action]
I'm not talkin' about this now. If you're not gonna help, go home!
[Action]
I'll do that. I have a tricorder to fix.
