[This was worth it. Don groans as tension he'd been ignoring eases from his bruises, and he shifts the blankets to subtly indicate how far Robert may go with his massage.]

[Right now Robert is very focused on this one leg; he's gone as far as to kneel to lavish attention on it. Truth be told, he missed being able to freely touch his lover, and this contact is something he had wanted but had been afraid to initiate after everything that had happened.

That, and it gives him a chance to see how Don's been healing. Luckily, he looks quite a bit better, even if he's still sore...

Robert makes a quiet sigh of contentment, stealing glances up at Don's face as he works.]

[Don, meanwhile, turns his attention back to the notebook. He may regret this, but he's going to attempt to convey the next thing on his list. Turning to a clean page, he begins drawing another diagram.]

[Though Robert is pretty engrossed in what he is doing, he nevertheless is paying enough attention to look inquisitively up at the notebook. Now what is Don writing?]

[Don takes his time, but when he finally turns the notebook around, the drawing should be pretty easy to understand. It depicts a Turtle (himself) sitting at a computer (possibly recognizable as Robert's nanocomputer) looking at pictures of other Turtles.]

[This is something Robert should probably respond verbally to, if only to make absolutely sure he's interpreting that right.]

You... wish to use my nanocomputer?

[There's no hint of discomfort or anything with the question. If Robert has a problem with Don using it, he isn't voicing it - just asking.]

[Nod. This is an easier request to convey.]

[Well, Robert doesn't see why that's a problem. He knows Don is more than capable of handling the technology - he's even worked with it before - and he hardly expects Don to go deleting everything.]

Certainly, you may. I expect that there will be no issue in finding what you want, there?

[Or writing new things. It's all good! (Just don't overwrite his files. Not that Don really would anyway...)]

[Don isn't sure whether he should answer yes or no to this, so he just smiles vaguely.]

[Turning the notebook to a new page, he begins drawing something else.]

[Meanwhile, Robert is taking the opportunity to inspect the rest of Don's leg, particularly his calves and ankles. Nothing seems to be out of the ordinary anymore, save the surface injuries, but Robert is determined to tenderly work over every part of Don's leg, so he'll do this unless the Turtle seems to express discomfort.

And then there's his other leg, too!]

[When Don finishes this next drawing, he moves his leg away slightly, to get Robert's attention. Come up here and look at this.]

[Robert glances up when Don does this, and this has the intended effect of having him notice the completed drawing.

Is this a cue to come up and look for himself? Because Robert is going to do that now.]

[Don shows Robert what he drew. This one depicts himself again, now wielding his bo against some unidentified humanoid.]

[... Oh.]

... Someone to... spar with? [Because Robert hopes that doesn't mean Don has somebody he's thinking of attacking.]

[Wow, Don did not think Robert would get this one so fast. He nods.]

[There aren't a spectacular amount of options to misinterpret this with, and in any case this is the easiest option.]

But... whom...?

[... Well. There is an answer that is literally right in front of Don. But that... that makes Robert a little nervous to consider.]

[If Don knew that, he wouldn't have brought up the subject. The point is he needs to spar with someone, and Robert may have to help him find a suitable partner.]

[Does a shrug convey any of that?]

[Well, it conveys that he doesn't have anybody in mind, and that Robert isn't necessarily the person expected to do it. Both of those things present their own complications.]

Well... we have t-time to consider that, I suppose. [Robert does know some people who are more... physically competent than him. Maybe they'd be willing to help?]

[On a related subject, then - enough so that Don continues on the same page. Here he draws Robert and another indeterminate humanoid, both of them wielding swords.]

[This is a little more complex, but after fifteen seconds or so of contemplation -]

... My... swords lessons. [He hasn't even spared them a thought since Leo went home, but... it suddenly occurs to him that he wasn't finished. (Would he have ever been?)]

[A nod. He won't make you continue, but he will support you in every way he can if you want to.]

[He blinks a few time, his expression... distant, almost, as he contemplates this. His chin rests in his hands.]

... I... wonder if anybody I know could... h-help me.

[There was Syre... she seemed to know her way around a sword, even if it was different. Will it matter if he has some strange hybrid sword-using style, though?]

[This is an encouraging line of thought. Don takes a moment to review his Luceti acquaintances, then attempts to draw the sword-users he knows: Ami and Sokka.]

[Robert at least knows Ami, and he can probably recognize her even from the simple drawing.]

... Doctor M-Mizuno?

[Well, why not? She's taught him medicine. And maybe having multiple kinds of insight on this could help, anyway. He still doesn't know the nuances of what made Link's swordfighting style different from Leo's...]

[Don takes a moment to decide whether this is the right name, then nods and pushes the notebook into Robert's hands. Ask her.]
