Fifty-Fifth Theory [Voice/Action]

[Don has been returned from his mission with the Malnosso. In this case, that means that his guide-droid politely but firmly made it clear to him that sorry, but he had to leave.]

[His journal is returned to him, he's shown to a teleporter, and a moment later he's standing in the village's coffee shop. After getting something - well, a number of somethings - to eat, he settles into a booth and opens said journal.]

[Some time later, he adds:] Has anyone heard of a Deadly Nadder? Or a Gronckle?

[Saying "I thought it was only a week" will probably not help his case, so... he's just going to work on this sandwich.]

[Yay! You're going to get a hug (and a monologue) when Don gets home.]

[When Don and Robert had come back to the house, the tea was ready. Leo had definitely hugged his brother. It took a while to be able to just talk between the two of them though, as Robert was really clingy. But eventually they got the sceientist to go something else.]

[Don rests his elbows on the kitchen table, hunching over his second cup of tea. He can sense that his brother has been impatient to talk about something he didn't want the house's resident human to hear.]

< What's going on? You looked like you wanted to chase him out of here with a katana. >

Leo's poured himself another cup of tea, watching as the steam curls out of the cup. The tea has helped in getting his mind in order as he thinks of what to say.]

< If I did, he'd be gone already. > [It's automatic, but it's true. The thought has crossed his mind more than a few times. But Robert's had his uses, uses that made him worth keeping.]

< Don, I caught Robert and Helios in the kitchen. >

< Thanks a lot, and what's your point? >

[Both men like to eat; it's hardly a crime.]

[The problem is, they weren't eating.]

< They were kissing >

[It's said a little angrier then probably needed. But to him, it was wrong.]

< Yes. I heard them in the kitchen and went to look, when I saw the kiss. >

[Plus it would have been rude not to just say 'hi' to Helios since he was in the house. He knows how Robert feels about Helios, but to see him do that when he's involved with Don...]

[He keeps his eyes fixed on the tabletop.]

< Is that all? >

< Is that all? Are you serious? He was doing that with another man while you were gone. >

[He stares at his brother's lack of reaction.]

[His jaw tightens a fraction, but he doesn't look up.]

< Is that all, Leo? Were they doing anything else? >

[He's silent for a moment as he thinks.]

< Not that I could see. > [He didn't stick around for that long either.]
