[Don has been returned from his mission with the Malnosso. In this case, that means that his guide-droid politely but firmly made it clear to him that sorry, but he had to leave.]

[His journal is returned to him, he's shown to a teleporter, and a moment later he's standing in the village's coffee shop. After getting something - well, a number of somethings - to eat, he settles into a booth and opens said journal.]

A deadly what? Those things sound like pure rubbish.

[You look familiar. Don has met a magical mutant horse before, but he's not sure you're the same one. Having been on the receiving end of that kind of confusion too many times before, he decides not to say anything.]

A Deadly Nadder. It's a kind of dragon. [His tone implies that this is a wonderful and fascinating thing.]

Not any kind of dragon I've ever heard of, that's certain...

A turtle? But turtles are smaller, and don't talk.

The Malnosso asked me to research dragons. Those were some of the species. I'm hoping someone else knows about them... [Because they are fascinating and he wishes to discuss.]

[He chuckles at this.] Ya know? I'd ask if you were okay, but you sound like you've been having a ball!

...Can't say I can help you much with dragons, but I can say that I've seen one recently, thanks to our kind benefactors. He was really big and black, with large eyes that looked like a cat's. Know of any that fit that description?

You're awake. [He didn't know if you'd be conscious enough to answer.] Are you sure? It must be cold...

[He's had a brother gone for three weeks. His mind has been fighting his body's natural want to sleep more, versus being aware if his brother gets dropped off in the forest or something. Though he still sleeps more than normal.]

Are you at least indoors? [He's hoping they didn't decide to dump him outside. You never know with the Malnosso. There's a shifting sound and rustling of fabric. Apparently he was awake, but not yet out of bed. That's quickly changing though] I have my own suit, you know.

Coffee shop. [- he repeats. Leo may be awake and wanting to run around, but he evidently isn't quite all there.]
