Sokka. I'm embarrassed that I didn't ask you any useful questions last week, and I'm downright ashamed that I haven't made it to the smithy yet. I need to start making up for these things, and I'm going to do that right now, by asking - what kind of materials and facilities do you have?

I'd - like to learn about magic. Not that I want to learn magic, but I've heard that's possible here, and... I just want to know... what kind of feats can be performed with these elemental abilities?

Also, if anyone here had magic in their own world, and their powers still work in Luceti - I'd like to hear about that too.

Non-harmful spells. Hmm. Could you cast something like that in advance, or would you have to be present to use it on someone?

I would have to be there; it's not like I can set a trap for someone in advance. I also need to be able to see them and be able to speak, since my magic is verbal-based.

Hm. I was hoping to find someone who could cast a kind of latent magic, something that would just run on its own. I don't really want to ask magic-users to take turns standing guard. That would end up being a much bigger commitment than what I've done...

If it has to be done, I'm sure something can work out...but with the variety in magic that we have around here, I wouldn't be too surprised if there was someone who could work spells like that. Heh, they would have been convenient at home, too.
