[Now that deadly trees have stopped falling from the sky...]

[Donatello has clearly been at the site for hours already. With the help of his brother Raphael, he has marked lines in the dirt where each structure should go, and set up a table in the middle of the area. On the table are blueprints for each of the structures, held down with rocks. The one for the seesaw array has a note on the corner: Crew Chief - Sunny.

Along with the blueprints is a torn-out sheet of journal paper, bearing the following instructions:] Please choose a crew and help in whatever way you can.

The project manager is DONATELLO. [Beside this is a not-very-good drawing of a mutant turtle, with an exaggerated purple stripe across his face.]

The chief of materials is SOKKA. [Beside this, an even-worse drawing of a human ... boy? ((Feel free to use the lousiness of this drawing as an excuse for hilarious cases of mistaken identity.))]

For those who would rather not be involved in the construction itself, there are also the following jobs:

Equipment Mover. You may have noticed that our tools and materials are not on-site yet. We will need a crew of people to move them from the smithy. *Not everything is heavy! Please volunteer to carry at least one thing!

Refreshment Runner. We will need a few people to periodically go to the shops, bring back food and beverages, and serve them to the other volunteers. *Great job for kids!

Blueprint Checker. For each structure, there should be a designated person to look very carefully at the blueprints, and make sure that the structure matches them at every stage of construction. *Good for the older and wiser among us!

First Aid Provider. Construction work inevitably leads to injuries. If you are knowledgeable about first aid, please keep an eye out for anyone who needs assistance.

[Raph's over there in a heartbeat, ready to draw his sai.]

[Pointing wordlessly to one of the dismembered animals.]

[Sparrow holds out his hands placatingly]

Now, now--no need to get out the fancy knives, turtle. Jack's only tryin' to help here.

The hell is that? Roadkill?

Raph, there's no cars here...

[There might be a few explanations for the leopard-print crackfest coat and the animal skins, the simplest of which is "Jack ran down a wandering pimp and a young doe with his wheelbarrow before gutting them both and taking their respective fur coats for his project."]

How many more would you like me to make? I can do more of this...roadkill...with very little effort, actually.

Yeah, no. I think you're done.

[Don has nothing to add. He doesn't want to attack Jack, just persuade him to go be depraved somewhere else. Raph's impressive skills at intimidating people should be more than sufficient.]

And how's the smithy, now that the cat's done her duty, hmmm?

[It's not really a "you owe me a favor now voice," Raphael.

[Raph owes no one, especially crazy hobos who bully his geek of a little brother.]

What, the cat you stole? I brought her back to the little girl you took her from.

[And a stealer of little girls' cats? He likes you less and less, Jack.] Raph, you know him?

Unfair! Cat wanted to come. Cat was begging me to take her to the bugs.

Yeah, I've seen him around before.

[He turns to Jack again.]

Whatever. Thanks for the gesture, but I'm gonna hafta ask you to take your crap and leave.

[And sorry for threadjump. Have an angry marine.]

Goddam it pirate. [Cracks knuckles menacingly, not catching all of Raph's convo.] You're just begging for a beat down.

[Actually, he doesn't really want anyone else to attack Jack either.]

It's okay, Smoker. The Captain was just leaving.

Yes, I'll leave after properly kowtowing before the beatific vision of justice what is this charming marine.

[Ooooh, what a dirty word.]

[Raph will just glare at Jack impatiently until he goes.]

Thirty seconds pirate. Counting started 29 seconds ago. [Growls.]

[Raph's glaring doesn't surprise Don, but apparently Smoker doesn't know how to accept surrender either. Don will just watch Jack's retreat, and hope that the parting shots don't turn into a real fight.]

Nah, nah--I just want to wait and see if the marine can make it all the way to zero.

Anyone want to put a wager down on this? My guess--he gets to fifteen and then falls over backward.

What, are you stupid? [Raph feigns a lunge in the pirate's direction, but stops himself short, growling.] I said go!

[Glances at Donatello, but grinds teeth on cigars, keeping his temper. For now.] Pirate.... [Definitely snarling though.]

[Restraining Raph or Smoker would totally undermine their collective position. Don will have to trust them to restrain themselves.] I really suggest you leave now, Captain.

[It's clear that Jack does not want to back down from the hated marine, but Don's request cuts through the part of him that doesn't mind being killed dead. It's really only a small bit of him, anyway.]

Aye--I'll go. It's too upright around here for the likes of me...Good day, gentlemen. And marine.

[When Jack finally takes a hint and leaves, Raph turns to his brother, jabbing him in the arm.]

Don't let people push you around like that.
